Titus County Has No 72-Hour List
The official Titus County jail roster page currently contains only a notice that a new roster is coming soon. It offers no current rows and no release archive. There is no last-72-hours tab, query parameter, PDF, date control, photo stream, or posted update cycle. The same county URL is still the right starting source because it documents the missing public interface.
A rolling 72-hour view would normally gather defined release events over three days. Titus County has not made such a view available. A person's absence across that period cannot tell whether the event was bond, sentence discharge, dismissal, a court-directed release, transfer, death, a data interruption, or mistaken identity.

A booking-out record and the related legal or receiving-agency record remain the sound ways to reconstruct the period.
Check Titus County's Three-Day Releases
Build the inquiry around a defined start and end time. A request framed as “the last three days” can shift while staff process it, so write down the dates and identify each person or booking as precisely as possible.
- Set the window. Record the three calendar dates and note whether the period crosses a weekend or holiday.
- Call Titus County Jail. At 903-577-7200, ask whether a named booking ended during that period and whether it was release or transfer.
- Request the existing record. Send records@co.titus.tx.us the full name, DOB if known, booking number, and approximate booking or release dates.
- Reconcile the court file. Use the County Clerk for its misdemeanor coverage and the District Clerk for felony dispositions.
- Confirm the destination. If the sheriff entry shows TDCJ, another jail, federal custody, or immigration custody, check that named system.
Use Released Last 24 Hours when the question is confined to today. The same-day route places more weight on an immediate jail call, while the three-day route benefits from a written date range and comparison across multiple source records.
Note: Keep the date range fixed in every call and email so different offices answer the same three-day question.
Titus County 72-Hour Record Fields
The online page shows no release fields. A three-day records inquiry should seek the following facts for each exact booking, without asking the Sheriff's Office to create a new public feed.

Do not report any of these as fields from a Titus County web feed. They are fields to request from the underlying booking and release records. The county has not published a feed cadence or online retention window, and no local promised response time or Sheriff release-record fee was found.
Titus County Weekend Releases
A three-day span can cross Saturday, Sunday, or a legal holiday, which makes it useful for organizing events missed in a weekday-only check. It does not prove that Titus County Jail follows a regular weekend release schedule. No official local source states the jail's routine discharge hour, exit point, family waiting location, or weekend processing practice.
Texas Code of Criminal Procedure Article 42.035 permits a sheriff, in a qualifying county-sentence case, to discharge on the preceding business day when the sentence would end on a weekend or legal holiday and the sheriff finds that early discharge will not endanger public safety. That is permission, not a promise that Titus County releases everyone on Friday. Other releases, such as bond or dismissal, follow their own authority and processing.
Article 43.13 contains limited pre-discharge credit and timing provisions for sentence discharge, with exceptions. It does not establish an everyday Titus County release hour. Ask for the actual booking-out timestamp rather than calculating one from the sentence or assuming that a holiday changed it.
Titus County Release Records Persist
The missing roster does not mean the underlying event records disappeared. TSLAC Local Schedule PS describes a permanent jail register containing a release or transfer date. It also describes incarceration files that may include booking in and out, commitments, transportation, transfers, releases, and court release orders, with a release-or-transfer-plus-two-year minimum.
These are agency retention rules, not an online archive period. They do not require a public three-day report and do not guarantee disclosure of each page. Their practical value is that a precise request can target an existing jail entry after the visible roster fails. Name the person and dates, ask for electronic copies, and request a written cost estimate before charges pass a chosen ceiling.
The sheriff record and court record answer different parts of the event. A judgment, dismissal, or bond order may be entered before the jail completes book-out. A TDCJ sentence can explain departure from Titus County while proving continued state custody. Preserve both sources rather than forcing them into one timestamp.

For a community release, look for an actual Titus booking-out event with its authority and no receiving custodial agency. For continued county custody, call the jail because its online placeholder cannot show a current inmate. For transfer, follow the destination on the sheriff record.

State transfer
A current TDCJ search match means state incarceration, not community release. A no-result is not proof of discharge because the portal is current-only.

Use the federal docket or USMS route for federal pretrial movement and ODLS for current ICE detention, then confirm with the agency.
Notifications add another layer but do not replace records. Titus links IVSS Counties, Texas operates TDCJ IVSS, and VINE/VINELink is separate. Each alert depends on agency submission and can lag. Save the notice, then request the originating release or transfer entry.
If Titus County Launches Releases
A future roster at the same URL should be tested before anyone calls it a 72-hour feed. Check for a distinct release filter, exact URL or parameter, stated time zone, date labels, release time, type or reason, photos, update statement, and how long a released row persists. Also determine whether a vendor or app operates the interface.
Until that review happens, the current negative finding controls. Do not infer common vendor behavior, claim frequent updates, or treat a live-custody roster as a released-person archive. The official Sheriff Facebook page is likewise an agency-news channel, not a recurring release list, and no official Titus Sheriff mobile app was established.
